Welcome to YWCA Scotland – The Young Women’s Movement online shop!

We are a feminist organisation and part of a worldwide movement of women leading change. Our vision is a world where every woman can shape her own life journey and fulfill her potential, where the voices of women are heard, respected and celebrated. Our merchandise reflects our vision and all proceeds go to creating safe spaces for girls and women in Scotland.

All of our products were designed by young women and produced using eco-friendly materials by our friends at Calman Trust, a social enterprise based in the Highlands.  We are proud that our goodies are kind to people and the planet. Treat yourself with our positive products or buy them for your friends or family.

Show us some love online! We want to see you enjoying your new stuff - tag us on Twitter or Instagram @youngwomenscot and add #youngwomenscotshop to your pics.

About our Artists:

Sarah-Jane Cochrane is a drawer and maker based in Glasgow. Sarah-Jane graduated from a literature degree and swiftly turned all of her attention to drawing and designing, using Etsy as a platform to showcase and sell her work, whilst also welcoming commissions. Growing up in a feminist household has influenced most aspects of her life, including her design and drawing work.

Lizzie Quirke creates bright and bold illustrations that are characteristically unique. A student at University of Edinburgh, her work is often inspired by local architecture, providing a fresh twist on familiar landscapes. Lizzie's designs for YWCA Scotland are intended to "come to life". The creation of something unique is an invaluable cathartic exercise, and use of thick lines and contrasting patterns help to enhance the full force of the empowering quotes in the centre.
